"This piece titled 'Thought and Memory' or alternately 'Hugin and Munin' was painted over 13 hours during a single day. The idea for the piece came as part of a series on sweeter thoughts and kinder words with bees and honey taking a central role.
The painting describes the mental process of being kind in ones thoughts and memories rather than only focusing on bitter or unpleasant things.
The piece was completed in acrylics using a combination of sponginig techniques and broad brush strokes due in part to the over all size of the piece and the time in which I hoped to complete it, acrylic seemed my best medium." - Charlie Maxwell
